About the Project
ARC is a next-generation wheelchair concept that reimagines everyday mobility through thoughtful, human-centred design. By integrating weather protection, spatial awareness, and assistive technologies, the project aims to create a safer and more confident travel experience for wheelchair users.
Designed Around Everyday Challenges
Rather than focusing solely on movement, ARC addresses the environmental and social barriers wheelchair users encounter daily. The design supports greater independence by helping users navigate changing weather, crowded spaces, and unfamiliar environments with confidence.
Protection Beyond Mobility
ARC features an integrated canopy system that provides shelter from rain and harsh sunlight without compromising accessibility. The design ensures users can travel comfortably across a wider range of weather conditions.
